10/01/20 – Full Moon in Pisces. Total fullness comes at 3:05 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time. Those with Pisces Ascendants or Moon signs will enjoy a focus on either learning/teaching, children, romance or being successful in their activities. Cancerians, ruled by the Moon, benefit by having their chart ruler in their 9th house of good luck, good fortune, remedies, and Natural Law.
10/03/20 – MARS moves backwards into Pisces, in its retrograde motion. It will stay there until 12/23/20. This is helpful to Pisceans, in that it kicks them into gear with more energy, ambition, courage, initiative and the ability to put plans into action now. As it rules “money houses” for Pisces Rising and natal Moon sign people, there should be good financial progress in this time frame. Mars rules the signs of Scorpio and Aries. As it moves through Pisces, Scorpios benefit as this is their 5th house of success. For those with Aries Rising or natal Moon signs, this is their 12th house, which represents loss and expenses, feeling isolated or conversely choosing solitude, but it can be a wonderful time to work on spiritual growth.
10/13/20 – MERCURY GOES RETROGRADE! – Yes, here we go again. It lasts until 11/03/20. Beware of making assumptions, which can easily give rise to misunderstandings now. This are tense times, so we want to avoid quarrels, as much as possible. The best way to do this is taking a philosophical attitude which includes “not taking anything personally.” Easier said than done, I know. Those who are most affected will be anyone with a Virgo or Gemini Ascendant or natal Moon sign.
10/16/20 – The SUN enters Libra, its sign of Debilitation for a one month period. Libra is the sign of peace, harmony and balance. As the Sun (which does stand for Ego, among other things) sits in this sign, it can actually serve to soften ego-based interactions. It’s not a bad thing when a planet enters its debilitation sign. Much progress can be made, the more humility an individual decides to embrace. Each time we have a presidential election, the Sun is in this sign. Let’s reflect on Lady Justice as she holds the scales in her hands to be applied equally to all, with her blindfold indicating that she will not be influenced by the world of appearance, but hold steadfast to the qualities of Justice that she represents.
10/19/20 – MERCURY goes combust the Sun, while it is also Retrograde. This means it is traveling too close for comfort and some of its qualities of diplomacy, intellect and tactfulness may be lessened now. Fortunately this condition will end on 10/31/20. Happy Halloween!
10/22/20 – VENUS enters Virgo. It will stay in this Earth sign, where it is debilitated until 11/16/20. It is still a good transit for the Virgos, as it rules two of their “money houses,” so can bring some prosperity and good fortune their way. It’s a good house for Taureans (5th), one of the signs that it rules, but not as good for the Librans (it is their 12th house of loss and expenses).
